The Township has numerous advisory boards and commissions in place to assist in the operation of our local government. The Board of Commissioners welcomes residents who wish to volunteer their time. All volunteers must live within the Township of Upper Moreland. 

If you are interested in serving on one of these committees and would like to be considered to fill a vacancy, please submit a letter of interest and/or resume (be certain to include your name, full address and telephone number) and email it to Patrick Stasio, Interim Township Manager, at pstasio@uppermoreland.org or via regular mail to the Office of the Township Manager, 117 Park Avenue, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Please be sure to include the name of the advisory committee or commission of interest. Your information will be shared with the Board of Commissioners for their consideration as openings occur.

1. On the Advisory Planning Agency to fill the Ward 1 vacancy left by Jay Silverman and serve a remaining two-year term that will expire on June 1, 2027. 
2. On the Historical Commission to fill the vacancy left by Albert DerMovsesian and serve the current three-year term that expires on December 31, 2027.
3. On the Historical Commission to fill the vacancy left by Heather Flaherty and serve the current three-year term that expires on December 31, 2025.
4. On the Historical Commission to fill the vacancy left by Brian Tompkins and serve the current three-year term that expires on December 31, 2026.
5. On the Historical Commission to fill the vacancy left by Susan Worth-LaManna and serve a remaining three-year term that will expire on December 31, 2026. 
6. On the Human Relations Commission to fill the vacancy left by Akeela Sides and serve a remaining three-year term that will expire on December 31, 2025.

8. On the Parks and Recreation Advisory Council to fill the Ward 3 vacancy left by Joseph Paskus and serve a two-year term that will expire on May 5, 2027.
9. On the Uniform Construction Code Local Appeals Board to fill the Structural Engineer vacancy left by Henry Sokolowski and serve a remaining five-year term that will expire on August 5, 2027.
