Large items that do not fit inside the trash cart such as tables, chairs, couches, dressers, carpeting, etc. must be scheduled for a free pickup by contacting the Public Works department 24 hours before your trash day at 215-659-4070 between 6:30am and 2:15pm.  The Public Works Department will confirm pickup with the resident and items will be picked up on your schedule trash day.  If you do not receive confirmation the item(s) will not be picked up.

Rugs and padding must be cut to 4-foot widths, then rolled and tied securely.  Each section should weigh less than 20 pounds (limit 1 room per pickup).

Mattresses and box springs must be covered in plastic.
