Real Estate Tax Office 

Alex Levy is the Tax Collector for Upper Moreland Township.  In this position, he is responsible for the collection of Real Estate taxes for Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County, and the Upper Moreland School District. The tax office also receives monies for deposit from various departments for such services as issuing permits, recreation fees, inspections, refuse, police, parking tickets, etc.

 

2026 Tax Due Dates

County / Township Real Estate - Bill Date - Monday, February 9, 2026

  • 2% Discount Due Date – Friday, April 10, 2026
  • Face Amount Due Date – Tuesday, June 9, 2026
  • 10% Penalty After – June 9, 2026

School Real Estate Tax - Bill Date - Monday, July 6, 2026

  • 2% Discount Due Date – Friday, September 4, 2026
  • Face Amount Due Date – Tuesday, November 3, 2026
  • 10% Penalty After – November 3, 2026

School Real Estate Tax Installment Plan - 2026/2027 Dates 

  • 1st Installment due - Friday, September 4, 2026
  • 2nd Installment due - Sunday, October 4, 2026 (Payments will be accepted on Monday, October 5, 2026, including post marks of October 5, 2026 or before)
  • 3rd Installment due - Tuesday, November 3, 2026

Payment Information

We accept cash, personal checks & money orders until December 15.

AFTER DECEMBER 15, ONLY GUARANTEED FUNDS (CASH, BANK CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS) WILL BE ACCEPTED.  PERSONAL CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED.

Checks should be made payable to “Treasurer, Upper Moreland Township” or “Alex H. Levy, Treasurer”.

We will accept credit card payments if the credit card is swiped at our office. There is no mechanism in place to use a credit card online at this time. The credit card company will add a 3% fee to your payment.

We do not accept ACH payments or debit cards at this time.

Ways to pay your real estate taxes: 

  • By Mail:   Upper Moreland Township Tax Office, 117 Park Ave., Willow Grove PA 19090. 
    1. If a receipt is required, please include a stamped self-addressed envelope with your payment and the full tax bill. Checks must be made payable to Treasurer, Upper Moreland Township. 
  • In Person: 
    1. Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM - 4 PM
  • 24-Hour Drop-Off Slot:  
    1. A mailbox is located inside the Upper Moreland Police station main entrance at the Township Building (117 Park Ave, Willow Grove, PA 19090).  If a receipt is required, please include a stamped self-addressed envelope with your payment and the full tax bill. Checks must be made payable to Treasurer, Upper Moreland Township. 

 

Tax Certification & Duplicate Tax Bills

TAX CERTIFICATIONS

The fee for a tax certification is $35.00.

DUPLICATE TAX BILLS

There is no fee for a duplicate tax bill for residents who request the same directly from the Tax Collector in person.

The fee for a duplicate tax bill for those other than residents is $5.00. The check should be made payable to “Alex H. Levy” and remit to:
