Administration
The Upper Moreland Township Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Township. The Township Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Township and ensuring that all ordinances, resolutions and policies established by the Board of Commissioners are implemented.

Code Enforcement
If you are planning any kind of home remodeling project, or thinking of retaining a contractor to do work for you, please keep the following regulations in mind. The Township's guidelines are based on national standards to help ensure that repairs, additions, and alterations are done safely, whether by homeowners or contractors. If you are unsure if a permit is required, please take the time to call the Code Enforcement Department, at 215-659-3100, for assistance before beginning work.

Police Department
The Upper Moreland Township Police Department is responsible for the protection of life and property within the 7.5 square mile political boundary. The Police Department operates under the guidelines of the Pennsylvania First Class Township Code.

Upper Moreland Township is a first class Township dedicated to recycling and waste reduction. Our residential trash and recycling operations target both environmentally responsible and cost effective programs designed to preserve resources for the future.
