Upper Moreland Township announces a Commissioner vacancy for Ward 6.
The term will expire on December 31, 2025. Anyone interested in serving as Commissioner for Ward 6 must be a resident of Ward 6, must have been a resident of Ward 6 for at least one year, and must be a registered voter. The position will be appointed by the Board of Commissioners to serve through December 31, 2025.
A special election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 to fill the term of Ward 6 Commissioner from January 5, 2026 through expiration on December 31, 2027. There is no requirement that the person selected to fill the vacancy stand as a candidate in the special election.
