[ARCHIVED] Travel Lanes to Reopen on Route 63 and Overnight Lane Restrictions on Route 63 (Welsh Road)

All Travel Lanes to Reopen on Route 63 on Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Overnight lane restrictions are scheduled in both directions on Route 63 (Welsh Road) between Twining Road and Computer Avenue in Upper Dublin and Upper Moreland townships, Montgomery County, on Wednesday, September 13, and Thursday, September 14, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for milling and paving operations in the area of the bridge carrying Route 63 (Welsh Road) over Norfolk Southern Railroad, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.  Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this work zone because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather. Prior to Wednesday and Thursday night’s lane closures, all four travel lanes on Route 63 (Welsh Road) will reopen to motorists from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In addition, beginning Wednesday, September 13, westbound Route 63 (Welsh Road) motorists will be able make a left turn onto Twining Road.
