[ARCHIVED] American Red Cross Blood Drive - 8/27/2019

The American Red Cross is asking for your help in a time of emergency need. Right now, blood donations are leaving the shelves faster than they're coming in. That means patients are at risk for delayed surgeries or treatment. Don't wait until the letters A, B and O are completely missing from the hospital blood bank shelves - the time to act is now.  Donors can help fill the #MissingTypes by scheduling lifesaving appointments today!

Here's how you can maximize your impact and help us overcome this blood emergency:

Donate Blood. If eligible, lead by example and be the first to donate at your upcoming drive.

Spread the Word. Share news of the blood emergency and how easy it is to donate, on social media, and encourage donors to help fill the #MissingTypes by giving blood this summer with the #RedCross.

Connect. Ask colleagues, friends and family to donate and encourage every donor to ask their connections to donate with them. Every donor scheduled means more lives saved!

Thank you for your commitment to help save lives. Together we can overcome this blood emergency and fill the #MissingTypes. Thank you for going above and beyond to help patients and families in need!
