Upper Moreland has received a $31,000 grant from the Montgomery County Transportation Program to help pay for improvements to traffic signals and pedestrian crossings at Davisville and Byberry Roads. When combined with a previous grant already secured, this means that $245,000 out of the estimated total project cost of $265,000 will be funded by the State and County, which reduces the Township’s share to $20,000 or just 7.5%.
