On Tuesday, September 12th at 7:00 p.m. at the Library's Community Room, the Upper Moreland Historical Association invites you to a special event in partnership with the Upper Moreland Historical Commission: "Finding Our Roots Through Deed Research"

Jeanne Sorg from MontCo office of the Recorder of Deeds will demonstrate researching individual home deeds in real-time. Residents can learn about their own homes or enjoy learning about selected homes in the Township. 

There is so much to know about deed researching and all the information that can be gained about a home and its former occupants! Homes in Upper Moreland Township that are at least 75 years old are historical by age, and may have actual historical designation based on the people who lived there, an event that occurred there, or its architectural design.
