Following an 80-gallon base coat paint spill that occurred on the morning of July 6th, PennDOT is repairing Davisville Road between Bryers Road and Pioneer Road in Upper Moreland Township.
PennDOT's current work schedule, weather permitting, will be as follows:
This morning (July 7th) – Davisville Road is closed while PennDOT mills the road. Once the milling is completed, which is expected to be completed early this afternoon, the road will be reopened temporarily.
Tomorrow morning (July 8th) beginning at 8:00 a.m., Davisville Road will again be closed while PennDOT repaves the road. It is expected that Davisville Road will be reopened tomorrow evening.
During the closure, Davisville Road motorists will be directed to use County Line Road, Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) and Byberry Road. Local access will be maintained up to the closure.
