PECO Energy is planning a weekday lane closure on Edge Hill Road between Chester Avenue and Route 63 (Old Welsh Road) in Abington Township, Montgomery County, beginning Friday, April 12, for gas main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. The lane closure will be in place Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through mid-June.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
