If recommended by the Public Health and Safety Committee at their July 24, 2023 meeting, this plan will go before the Board of Commissioners for a vote at their August 7, 2023.  

By having an adopted plan, municipalities become eligible for FEMA funding to implement projects that are included in the Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP0, and to receive disaster mitigation funding should a disaster declaration be issued.
