PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ZONING HEARING BOARD OF UPPER MORELAND TOWNSHIP WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2017 AT 7:30 PM AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 117 PARK AVENUE, WILLOW GROVE, PA.  ALL AFFECTED OR INTERESTED PARTIES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND AND OFFER TESTIMONY.  A COMPLETE COPY OF THE PETITION TO THE ZONING HEARING BOARD IS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION AT THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICE DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS.

Petition Fran Manero for property located at 2415 Exton  Road, Hatboro, PA  19040.  Applicant seeks a variance from Upper Moreland Township Code Ch. 350, Art. 5, Sec. 350-27 for a front yard setback of 48.5’ instead of the minimum 50’.  Applicant proposes to install an A-Frame roof onto front of house.  Property located in the R-2 zoning district.

Petition of The Great Britain’s Automotive Group for property located at 1001 S York Rd., Hatboro, PA 19040.   Applicant seeks a special exception from Upper Moreland Township Code Ch. 350, Art. 13, Sec. 350-75.C (8) for new vehicle inventory storage.  A variance from Sec. 350-178 to utilize existing parking spaces for office area.  Property located in C-2 zoning district.

Freedom Valley YMCA for property located at 3400 Davisville Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.  Applicant seeks a variance from UMT Code Ch. 350, Art. 35, Sec. 350-301 to install ground-mounted solar powered lighting systems.  A variance from Art. 3, Sec 156-12(B) for placement of fill within the 100 year floodplain.  A Variance from section 156-12(C) to perform maintenance and modifications to existing stream bank.  A variance from Sec. 156-12(F) to install a recreation trail and crossings within the floodplain.  A variance from Sec. 156-12(H) for construction and placement of a parking area otherwise defined to be located within a floodplain.  A variance from Sec. 156-12(K) for placement of a storm water basin within the 100 year floodplain.  Property located in the Recreation Conservation and Floodplain Conservation Districts.
