1. What are the business hours of the Township?

The Administration Building located at 117 Park Avenue, Willow Grove, PA 19090 is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  However, department hours will vary. Please visit their website page for their hours of operation.

2. What holidays are the Township Building Closed?

The Township Building is closed in recognition of the following holidays:

• New Year's Day (January)
• Martin Luther King, Jr. (January)
• President's Day (February)
• Memorial Day (May)
• Independence Day (July)
• Labor Day (September)
• Thanksgiving Day & the Friday after (November)
• Christmas Eve (the building will close at 12:00 p.m.) (December)
• Christmas Day (December)
• New Year's Eve (the building will close at 12:00 p.m.) (December)

Some holidays may fall on a weekend day, therefore the Township will observe the holiday either the Friday before (if the holiday lands on Saturday) or the Monday after (if the holiday lands on a Sunday).

3. Who is my Commissioner?

There are seven Commissioners in Upper Moreland Township. To find your Commissioner, you may contact the Township Manager's office at 215-659-3100 or view the Ward Map and find your street.  The seven Wards are separated by the red lines and numbers.  The Board of Commissioner's page on our website lists all the Commissioners, their respective Wards and their e-mail address.

7. How do I apply for a volunteer appointment on a Committee?

The Board of Commissioners welcomes resumes and letters of interest from residents who wish to serve as a volunteer member of Township committees, authorities and commissions. If you would like to serve on one of these committees, please send a letter to the attention of the Township Manager, David Dodies, 117 Park Avenue, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

10. How can I reserve the Community Room at the Library?

If you are interested in reserving the Community Room at the Library, there are a guidelines. These guidelines are as follows:

1. The Community Room is to be used by groups or organizations, including political groups without regard to party affiliation, based in the Township or composed of residents of the Township, for the purpose of holding meetings or presenting programs not of a commercial nature (non-profit).  The term "commercial nature" is defined as the principal aim of the program is to promote the sale of a good or product or promote the provision of a service for a fee.  A program shall not be considered commercial in nature if such promotion of the sale of a good or service is merely incidental to the program as a whole, provided that no sale of any goods or services shall be conducted on Township property.
2. No fee will be charged for the use of the room.
3. An individual member of the group or organization shall sign for the use of the room which makes that individual responsible for arranging for any necessary set-up of the room and shall be responsible for returning the room to its condition before the meeting.  Failure to return the room to its before meeting condition or any abuse of property or damage may result in denial of future use of the room by the group or organization.
4. Availability for use shall be the same as the Library hours.
5. The individual member of the group or organization will be a resident of the Township.

You can check the Community Room by viewing the Library Calendar to make certain that other events are not scheduled.

11. How do I request public information?

To request public information, please complete the Right to Know Request form.  If the information you are seeking is related to a police report, you must complete a Police Right to Know Request form.
